Skill Development
Proper training to key personnel of Management as well as MDO representatives regarding formulation and implementation of SMP,code of practices at mine and its importance to maintain safety standard of the mine.
Do
Visit the mine working area, discuss with employees and officials on the spot, checking the recommendations of the safety committee, WI report, Inspection report of the Mine Manager, SO,Accident inquiry report and DGMS observation report for identifying the hazards
Check
After identifying hazards risk calculation, principal hazards shall be identified and accordingly Safety Management Plan shall be made. After taking controlling measures, the remaining ranking of risk shall be checked. Code of practice shall be made on the above basis and shall be implemented
Action
After formulation of SMP shall be submitted to DGMS by Mine Management.Every quarter review of Principal Hazards and actions taken shall be sent to DGMS by Mine management, The code of practice shall be signed by the Mines Manager and distributed to all competent persons.
